This Ritz Carlton Boston wedding with copper and blue decor started by working with the bride's parents, as with most couples these days, they're super busy.

Pauli & Jeff have full-time jobs, they're working on their master’s degree, and they play sports. Which is one of the reasons they hire us! So, with the help of her parents, we started the planning ball rolling. When I finally met Paulina & Jeff, I was so excited. Theirs is a sort of old-fashioned love story. They grew up together, started dating in high school, and their families have been friends forever. Nine Years Later. Pauli and Jeff have been dating for 9 years before finally making it official.

THE CEREMONY

They were married at St. Paul's Parish in Cambridge, MA. They had the largest wedding party; 32 people were in the processional for instance!! Yup, 32! This is because the bride is Filipino, and she wanted to incorporate several Filipino wedding traditions. Like having Primary and Secondary Sponsors, and Cord and Candle Sponsors to name a few. All of these people are included in the wedding procession. It was so special and unique to witness, I'm grateful to have been there!

THE VISION

With guests traveling from around the world, the couple wanted to be sure they enjoyed the entire experience. When asked, “what is the most important element of your wedding?”, they responded, "This day is about family. We want everyone to be having a good time..." Pauli and Jeff wanted a romantic, sweet, relaxed celebration that was classic and minimal. They were on-trend with wedding colors in blue and copper, which blended perfectly with the newly renovated Ritz Carlton Boston Ballroom. The Ritz Carlton, a perfect combination of history, culture and modernism. With flowers by the talented Jill of Petal Pushers Natick and linens from Be Our Guest, the blue and copper theme is brought to life.

We had the pleasure of working with Binita Patel Photography, who graciously worked around the bride's family's love of taking pictures. Binita's style fits perfectly with the vision Pauli & Jeff had for capturing their friends and family on their wedding day.
