A Rosecliff Fairytale Wedding in Rhode Island

This Rosecliff Fairytale Wedding started when Elegant Aura met Jennifer and Michael on a dreary November Sunday. The couple was ready to hit the ground running to plan their spring wedding. They originally wanted to host their wedding ceremony on a private island the groom’s family-owned off the coast of North Kingstown, RI. But weather concerns and logistics made the attempt too challenging. Not settling for anything less cool, they chose the historic mansion at Rosecliff in Rhode Island for their chic spring wedding location.

WEDDING DESIGN & DÉCOR FOR A SPRING WEDDING

Every element and detail was important to the couple. Jennifer and Michael wanted a chic, modern but classic wedding. They wanted their guests to enjoy everything. They wanted an “unforgettable day.” Their wedding colors were blue and white, and they wanted everything to be perfect. Jennifer describes her wedding cake to be large, breath-taking, artistic, a centerpiece. With the help of Mark from Confectionery Designs, the vision came to life! Guests dined on local, seasonal New England fare provided by Russell Morin Catering.

The flowers, created by Stoneblossom Flower & Event Design were an abundance of white hydrangea and roses done in an organic and architectural feel. The centerpieces were highlighted with pin-spots and the room glowed with amber up-lights by DesignLight Co. Although the weather that day was similar to the day we met, the wedding was most certainly not. It was full of bright happy colors, and loving, warm families. This Rosecliff chic spring wedding was cheery!

Jennifer and Michael have great taste, and every detail was well thought out, right down to the blue and gold, monogrammed-French macaroon favors.  To complete the fairytale, the bride wore a stunning couture wedding dress by designer, Galia Lahav. From the Les Reves Bohemians Collection, the dress aptly named, “Cinderella”, is an ice blue off the shoulder ballgown with a skirt make from multi-layered tulle. The tulle gradually creates density throughout the sheer layers. The bride’s shoes were Jimmy Choo Crystal Lance Heels.
